The European Molecular and Cellular Cognition Society is an international organization focused on fostering exchanges in the field of Molecular and Cellular Cognition. EMCCS is the European branch of the Molecular and Cellular Cognition Society (MCCS), which headquarters are in North America and has major branches in Asia and Europe. In Europe, EMCCS was established created in 2004 and stablished as an independent Scientific Society in 2008. Today, EMCCS is an affiliated Monodisciplinary Society to the FENS.
