Our Poster session will be on Thursday October 17th from 6:30 - 9:30 PM and be held on the Northwestern University Chicago campus, located at 303 E. Superior St. in Chicago. 

Our one-day Symposium will be on Friday, October 18 from 8AM - 5PM and be held at McCormick Place Convention Center in room N228.

The MCCS Workshop will be on Thursday October 17th held from 1 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in Hughes Auditorium, part of the Northwestern University Chicago campus.

A poster session scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Potocsnak Family Atrium in the Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center.

This year’s MCCS workshop will be on an UCLA open-source version of head-mounted fluorescent microscopes. These are custom built wearable microscopes similar in capability to the microscopes developed in the Schnitzer lab. The workshop will focus on:

  1. Imaging principles and miniscope design
  2. Assembly of miniscope
  3. Surgery implantation and use in hippocampus and other brain region
  4. Processing software for miniscope data
  5. Future developments of the technology.

The speakers at the workshop will be the very scientists who developed and routinely use these microscopes. We wanted you to know that there is very limited seating available, so please register as soon as possible.
